We had a vocabulary quiz on units 1-2 today at the start of class.
We then checked our answers for lesson #2 on "DISASTERS".
In newly formed groups we had students talk for 1 minute while the other 3 or 4
group members listened and wrote down notes on what they heard. After 1 minute
we rotated to the next student until everyone in the group had a chance to talk.
Students in their groups had to think about one good topic and then create a group
question on that topic and take turns talking and listening to each others answer
about the specific question that they agreed to ask each other.
Our last activity was a conversation between student and advisor and six questions
on that conversation followed.
HOMEWORK
-do lesson #3 vocabulary
-write down 10 words from lesson #3 in your flash cards
-finish student/advisor six questions
